From 16mm to HD, music videos to EPK's to Live DVD's, MediaVox NYC has honed the knowledge of massive production studios minus the massive overhead.

When visual artist Michael Pope was first approached by Amanda Palmer and Brian Viglione to produce and direct the first music video for their brand new band 'The Dresden Dolls', little did they know their collaboration would hail the beginning of a series of career successes for the three of them.

Immediately after the release of the video, The Dresden Dolls were sought by and signed with Roadrunner Records and steadily rose to international superstardom, performing with artists and legends -- from Cyndi Lauper to Trent Reznor. Pope would then be sought after by a number of Boston-based musicians and later be named 'Boston's Best Visual Artist' in 2008.

When Pope was asked to create a new video for the Dolls' first official single "Sing", he reached out to young producing phenom BriAnna Olson in Chicago. After a clearly successful collaboration (featuring Production Design by Zea Barker), it was decided that they'd continue working together under the name MediaVox and move their company to New York City. MediaVox NYC was born.

Fast-forward three years and MediaVox NYC has seen its videos premiere on Pitchfork, People, Spin, and Stereogum. In the Summer of 2009, Roadrunner Records is slated to release a retrospective DVD, featuring eight music videos produced by MediaVox NYC.

Most recently, the 2009 Boston Underground Film Festival featured several MediaVox videos, as well as individual works by Pope and Olson.
